Ivetta Irkha

IVETTA IRKHA, pianist, konsertarrangör ( producent) pianopedagog, körledare, musiklärare.

Ivetta Irkha’s passion for music was awakened at the age of two when she conducted behind her father’s back (Vasiliy Irkha, professor of music in the Ukraine) at his choir rehearsals.

No more than 10 years old Ivetta made her debut as a soloist in Haydn’s piano concerto and was subsequently accepted into the “Special Music School of Kharkov” for extraordinary talented children, there Regina, sister of Vladimir Horowitz, still was in head of the piano classes. Thereafter followed higher education, international master classes, soloist diploma at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, first prize at several International piano competitions, TV and radio recordings, tours in Europe, China and United States.

Ivetta is also a highly sought-after piano teacher.

Since 2010, Ivetta is the artistic director of the concert series “Chamber Music in S:t Hedvig Eleonora church”.

Ivetta is also the initiator and one of the artistic directors of Stockholm Piano Festival that will take place for the first time in 2015.
